Important change in version 4.0

You will notice that nothing visible has changed in the new version – however, some changes “under the hood” were necessary to adapt the app to the latest guidelines from Apple and Google. This always takes a lot of time and effort. SmartRace for Carrera GO Plus has now been available for over six years and has been repeatedly updated since then – unlike the official app from Carrera.

In the meantime, Carrera has discontinued the Go!!! Plus system – but SmartRace will continue to exist. To ensure that it continues to pay off without new customers, I am forced to recoup the costs incurred in other ways, namely in the form of a subscription model. I don’t like this myself and I’m sure that many of you won’t like it either, but unfortunately I don’t see any alternative. You can find out more about it here.
